Posted by stephen on August 9th, 2010Our team leaves in a little less than a week! Please keep them in your prayers. Pray for safe travel, high spirits, and great fellowship as they work to bring people clean water and teach them about personal hygiene!

Serving those in Labor
Posted by danny on May 19th, 2009Venture has been serving alongside Labor of Love in Morgantown, WV. LOL is an organization that helps single pregnant women through the pregnancy/birth/transition to motherhood process. There is a group from Venture that did some repair work on their facility this month. Ther eis another need that is pressing though for the ministry. If you or anyone you know has a passenger van that they might be willing to donate to the ministry, they are in need of one. Nicaragua 2009 Mission Trip
Posted by admin on March 29th, 2009Preparations for the Venture Nicaragua 2009 (August 1-8) misson trip are underway. For those unfamiliar with these trips, they are done in conjunction with Living Water International and there are three major goals: 1) to drill a clean-water well at a village near Leon in Nicaragua, a place where there is no readily-available clean water; 2) to teach basic hygeine to the people of the village; 3) and, more generally, to bring the love of Jesus to the people there.
