Preparations for the Venture Nicaragua 2009 (August 1-8) misson trip are underway. For those unfamiliar with these trips, they are done in conjunction with Living Water International and there are three major goals: 1) to drill a clean-water well at a village near Leon in Nicaragua, a place where there is no readily-available clean water; 2) to teach basic hygeine to the people of the village; 3) and, more generally, to bring the love of Jesus to the people there.
